New energy vehicle exports face new opportunities

As the world pays increasing attention to clean energy and sustainable development, the market demand for new energy vehicles continues to grow. At the same time, China's new energy vehicle industry has obvious advantages in technology, quality, cost and other aspects, which provides strong support for exports. The government has also introduced a series of policies and measures to support the international development of the new energy vehicle industry, including improving international operating capabilities, strengthening overseas R&D cooperation, and improving overseas compliance management capabilities. For the first time, a domestic automobile company has independently contracted a ro-ro ship to ship export cars. Nearly 2,000 brand-new domestic new energy vehicles set sail on a fully loaded ro-ro ship. This move breaks through the limitations of the traditional shipping booking model. By achieving fixed points, routes, ships and timing, it ensures delivery timeliness and provides customers with lower freight rates. As the largest automobile export terminal in China, Haitong Terminal in the Waigaoqiao Port Area of Shanghai Port accounts for about 70% of China's ro-ro automobile exports and has become an important channel for domestic new energy vehicles to go overseas.
